Client Cabinet or Client Cabinets or CC – The Client’s individual area on GKFX’s Website which opens after the Client’s unique login and password have been entered. This protected area, which on GKFX’s Website is called the Client Cabinet, is intended for identification of the client, support of the TA, maintenance of the registry of offsets between the Company and the Client, and data support for the Client. 

Client’s external account – The client’s bank and/or electronic account. The account is registered in the name of the Client at a bank or electronic payment system.

Electronic transfer – A transfer using electronic means of payment/electronic funds.

Expert Advisor – A program which connects to the terminal and carries out automatic trading on the ТА.  

Free margin – Free funds on the TA available for use in trading.

Leverage – The ratio of one’s own funds to those borrowed and available for trading.  

Liquidity – The ability to buy or sell assets at a given price and volume. 

Liquidity providers – The Company’s counteragents. Liquidity providers may be banks, ECNs, and other companies which provide liquidity.  

Locked positions – Opposite positions on the same instrument.

Margin – The amount paid by the Client to secure an open position. 

Margin level – The ratio of margin to free funds.

Market snapshot – The prices and volumes offered by liquidity providers at a particular moment in time.

Non-trading operations – Any operations the purpose of which is not directly related to trading. In particular, non-trading operations include depositing funds to the Trading Account and withdrawing funds from the Trading Account.

Requote – a window in which a new quote appears if the market price changes during the processing of an order on STP accounts. 

Scalping – A trading strategy whereby positions are opened and closed frequently.

Server log file – A file on the trading server on which all steps of the processing of client orders are reflected.

Trading account or TA – The Client’s virtual account (or accounts) which is opened in the Client Cabinet and supports the display of advance payments made by the Client and the keeping of the registry of offsets made between the Company and the Client.  

Trading session – The time period during which an instrument is available for trading.
